The Africa Passport is a free verified identity and digital profile for a person. It lets someone prove who they are once, connect to people who are verified, and see opportunities matched to a profile they control — using Africa.Inc’s Collective Markets Intelligence and the ODIN head agent.
The passport is in build. Linkage to a national identity is deliberately not part of it yet: that comes only where full regulatory compliance is in place, market by market, and never as a condition of holding a passport.
What the passport carries
- A verified identity the holder keeps: credentials from issuers who are authorised to issue them.
- A digital profile the holder controls: skills, sector, market, and what they are looking for.
- Selective disclosure: prove one claim — over eighteen, resident in a market, holder of a qualification — without handing over the document.
- Consent bound to purpose and duration, with revocation, and a non-biometric alternative for every holder.

On national identity
Connecting a passport to a national identity is valuable and is planned — it is also the point at which a private platform starts touching sovereign identity. Africa.Inc will do it only in a market where the legal basis is in place, with the identity authority as the issuer rather than Africa.Inc, and it will never be required in order to hold an Africa Passport. Until then the passport carries credentials from issuers who are already authorised to issue them.
